Pros & Cons
Pros
The rim appears to be a magnetically responsive steel alloy. The tightly folded rim secures the screen, and also forms a liquid trap. It fits nicely on top of my 4 cup pyrex glass liquid measuring cup.
The metal is very high quality and the strainer seems to be well-built and durable. My old strainer finally bit the dust (from catching rust) after many years.
Cons
Great pot but terrible strainer. Made in china with inferior materials.
The handle was attached poorly.
Highlights
Quality
Good quality, really works and a fair price!
High quality steel in both mesh and handle, the union of the mesh with the handle feels super secure.
Packaging/appearance
Rinse first, and while rinsing, rub the seeds between your fingers to help remove the saponins.

The mesh is joined to stainless rim in such a way that a crevice is formed between the mesh and the inner edge of the rim

Small food particles can get stuck in this crevice and are somewhat difficult to remove

My other larger strainer of a different brand does not have this problem
