Highlights
Quality
All in all, it does the job, and i'm satisfied with the value.
Also, it does make a bit of a mess with the ground coffee getting on everything.
I have two main problems with the machine and they are both fairly minor.
One comment regarding the static cling experienced by several people.
Packaging/appearance
I also had my eye on the capresso infinity conical burr grinder model #560.
Let them dry and then wipe the inside of the parts with fabric softener sheets.
The small hole on the back of the container always drops some ground coffee on the counter when you pull out the box.
Competitiveness
It works well for my family's coffee habits.
I only press in a bodum, so i always use the coarsest grind and can't speak to any other grind or to larger or smaller quantities.
It's quieter than my prior bodum, and i'm not standing around the kitchen listening to it, so that's not a big issue for me.

The container for the ground coffee could have been designed better as the static electricity makes the fine coffee fly out unexpectedly

And the container is very touchy to slide back in you have to line it up just right which i never seem to do on the first try

This is easily remedied by giving it a little jostle but probably will cause the motor to wear out sooner than it should
