Out of the box, after cleaning according to instructions, it works great. Cuts on and off properly and easy to use. Spout filter easier to take out and reinsert.

Love this little heater! It's easy to fill and comes to a boil in a reasonable time. I also love that it's stainless steel. Stainless steel looks attractive with other appliances on my counter top.

Sadly, probably not a krups. There is supposedly a 2 year warranty, but the warranty is clearly designed so that krups won't ever have to honor it.

Bought at the end of november 2017, it's now march 2018 ( just under 4 months later) and it sprung a leak last night. The push button on the lid fails to release the lid, very frustrating. I have to pry it open with my fingers.

The kettle is no longer operable. You are told to buy a shipping box, and mail the kettle back to them. It is under warranty and i will be returning it.
