So after a month or two with the new kettle and multiple daily uses, i have more pro's, and a couple con's (so far).

The price is now almost twice as high.

When the water is hot the walls are very hot the only handle is cold we have a kid at home decided to return

The only annoying feature is you need to hold on to the filter when pouring out the water or it will fall out

The top of the handle is the control panel and it is not comfortable to put any part of your hand or thumb on it

We had krups before it was 6 years old and still worked the only reason we bought this one was due to the filter not being able to be replaced
