Pros & Cons
Cons
Might work well for pruning growth less than a couple months old but anything wider than 1/4 inch wide was too much strain.
Highlights
Quality
The trimmer is well-made, has a good reach, and cuts easily.
Good construction i use it for my pond plant trimming it works great
5 years before the power spring broke and it became unrepairable and unusable.
Getting down on the ground and snipping off every spent iris stalk is very tedious.
Price
Amazon search led to this, at under 1/2 price & free amazon shipping.
Packaging/appearance
One star off for sub par packaging.
This came packaged in a thin box and as such the outer rod was slightly bent, but managed to straighten it out.
Competitiveness
Have bought several from other companies but this one is the best out of 4.

One issue the angle adjuster does not stay secured i find myself constantly turning the pole so the “non cutting” part is on top that way it holds your clipping and does not trim and drop
