A couple of differences the access panel for the ports hdmi and usbc are bigger than on the official frame

With the official frame the panel needs to be removed completely if you want access to these ports while it is in the frame

The cushion on the lid pushes the camera when closing and prevents and rattling that occurs in other third party cases and the clip can be easily undone without it feeling like it could accidentally open

The grip allows tightening and loosening the camera much easier and saves having to carry around the tightening tool

I have used the camera in this cage on both a gopro chest mount and a handlebar mount on both a road bike and a hybrid road bike

As the kupton cage is slightly bigger than the gopro it doesnt sit as flat so it is pointing down at a steeper angle
