The reason for 4 stars is because the bottom case pops off easily towards the edge of the laptop when trying to pick it up

On my third or fourth one of these they work great absorb reasonable impact and break instead of the damaging the expensive laptop when it is roughed up

The only complaint and it is fairly minor is the case is showing signs of wear on the corners

The kuzy is made with rubber instead of plastic and therefore is a little different in grip slickness and visibility of the logo through the case

Id have it several weeks and it will definitely protect the mac from scuffs and scratches as the plastic one did but probably show none of them as the plastic one did
