Used to ease rubber grommets in miniture electric wiring as does not degrade rubber or stain wood.

Used this stuff in anaesthetics for 25 years; then the nhs brought in a cheap version - which was grainy and horrid.

I use this for lubricant on rubber and neoprene items for all sorts of applications particularly cars.
