If you are looking for a budget iem that is portable and sounds great then you should try the castor blacks.

While i won't claim they sound as good as $500 iems, at $17 they sound great and i could care less of i happened to accidentally lose them.

Kindly note burning time required to get good audio out either with dac or smartphone or any other device burning time depends from minimum 18 hours listening and above

The overtheear design helps protect them to some degree but a good yank in the wrong direction probably wouldnt be a great thing the way everything is oriented

Means in theory you could swap out the cable
