If youre so minded you can probably modify them to improve this but at the end of the day they cost less than £20 so it may not be worth the effort

They are comfortable and fit in my ear using medium buds perfectly

The earbuds come in different sizes but i didnt feel any really fitted me well but after putting some sugru under the bud flap it moulded to my ear much better

I bought the as a cheap pair of in ear headphones for the winter as unless you are craig david there really is no excuse for over ear headphones over a wooly hat
