The display has three brightness settings, high/low/off. Ours has 2 tilt positions you can set to make this more suitable for different viewing locations. The color on the display is from overlays but it is pleasing to the eye.

Do droid require that you connect to a pc through usb and that pc must be turned on 24/7. Absurd and a pita for those of us not surrounded by hotspot poachers. And it does. All of my other many devices do).

Lacrosse comes with an outdoor temp/hygrometer with a temperature display. It has a separate thermometer/humidity sensor. You have to scan each sensor bar-code into the app to make them usable within the app.

Cons

Shame on la crosse for relabeling a defective model to sell more units. Connectivity issues as well as accuracy with the tx233rw multi sensor (rain/wind) when reloaded the sensors and nothing changed. Do not buy. It sends no data at all.

I have yet to get the wifi going. I tried station factory reset, router reset, reboot android device - nothing helps. Will not but another lacrosse weather station again.

I enjoyed the weather station until after only 2 years, this sedentary desk device simply quits. Had 2 units with the same problem. Only lasted a few months.
