The display is clearly and crisply viewable to at least a 45 degree angle laterally, and vertically looking up at the clock. The large readout is black making it easy to see. It’s awesome big and bold great for those who have vision challenges.

Love the atomic time setting feature. So far, the battery is very long-lasting. This is my 2nd one, first one lasted 7 years.

Both clocks remained plugged-in at all times, in these cases.

Since it is battery operated and does not have an option to have it plugged in, it would not have that function.
