Pros & Cons
Pros
I have mine mounted on the wall of a breezeway that is on the north side of my house. Easy to install and used my own screws. Comes with screws and a mounting plate if you find a tree or someplace to hang it.
Cons
This shield does virtually nothing to protect temperature/humidity sensors from solar radiation. The air gap between the plates is too small. It is not even close to being worth the ridiculous price over $16!

The unit appears to provide good protection from rain but does not offer much protection from the heat of the sun

Used it like they say to use it put it up on a post in the shade as much shade you get on the north facing side of a 4x4 post

I added this because the sensor getting wet would not work well on the humidity but now in this housing it works much better
