Pros & Cons
Pros
This one is brighter and focuses better than my old oregon scientific atomic ceiling clock. It's adjustable but that was about right for me. The only thing this is missing is an auto on and auto off for the projector.
La crosse's ltv-th2 clock has the longest broadcast range of any clock on the market. The 5. Ghz band is still a common band for internet of things devices. Google hub/routers are dual-band and the google router will try to link you automatically to i... Read More

Cons
The setup is laughable when considering how simple it could and should be. The first one connected to my wifi, but wouldn't stay connected. There are several features controlled by an app - this app is glitchy and difficult to set up.
Without the light sensor, it's almost unusable. The indoor temperature (when it worked) is way off compared to other lacrosse units sitting beside it. The crock (pun intended) does not remember the wifi information should accidently unplug it.

It was always difficult to sync the wifi, especially since it only works with the 2g, not 5g.
Even with the correct mac address, i ended up setting up the device and resetting it several times.

Competitiveness
Far better than others offer by competitors.
I hope this one also lasts more than a decade.
It will not connect to a 5ghz signal.
