Pros
Wind sensor is adequate for my use, not a professional unit and requires 2x c cell batteries. Love all the features and very reliable with my ham radio station.
Cons
Even tho it is wifi capable the unit simply does not connect to my wifi/internet/router. Lots of issues with app connectivity too.
Highlights
Quality
Phone app works is the best way i can put it (the basic access is free, $ for the premium app service which for me wasn't needed).
I am not sure what all the fuss is with this product.
I have had some issues with internet connectivity, and with the base unit crashing.
Price
Price was good and so good i bought for a house warming gift
Competitiveness
Wifi fix: i use a unifi network (a little more advanced then your normal home network routing system).
4 and 5ghz routers…this unit only can complete the setup using 2.

When you have a dual band router modem and both are active problems happen and more than likely this wont work without an adjustment to these type of router modems

The key fix is disabling the band steering option

Once i turned off band steering option the weather station connected right up

I had an issue that the wifi connection was intermittent and after i tried to reset to factory and reinstall it would not connect at all to the wifi
