I gave it only four stars for accuracy because it differed from my old thermometer by about a degree and a half fahrenheit

The display is bright and the unit has a plugin power supply so only the outside sensor pack requires a battery

Pleased with the product so far the temp is a bit higher and humidity a bit lower than local weather reports twice now the date has jumped out of sync and had to be reset but for the money its not a bad buy at all

Not as good as my old one which was made by a company that lacrosse purchased this one requires it be plugged in the electrical power while my prior forecaster ran on batteries which was much better you could put it wherever you wanted it this one has to be near a electrical plug

However we dont notice the flashing unless we are looking directly at the device
