If settings is done rightly this is very good product lcd does not go off if settings is done properly

The most weird thing is the batterysolar switch under the battery door you have to keep it in battery left position to power up but you must remember to switch it to solar right once the clock works properly otherwise solar panel will not charge the battery

There is no way of clearing seconds readout manually you have to removereinsert battery or wait for radio synchronization

Desert dwellers should be aware that humidity below 20 cannot be measured accurately by this device it is hard to get hygrometer that measures low rh levels well

People with weak eyesight should note that digits of the display are relatively thin so hanging this clock too high or in large room may cause problems with reading the display

Quirky setup subtracts a little from the full 5 star score but not enough to lower it to 4 stars

The display also includes an indicator to let you know if it has received a time signal

There is also an alarm though i personally dont use this feature
