Pros & Cons
Pros
A little goes a long way. Highly recommended. Would recommend to anyone. It's definitely worth getting if you care about what goes on your new baby.
It has an excellent rating with the ewg in terms of safe ingredients.
The pump is a great thing when it comes to baby soap. It comes out foamy, which makes it easy to lather up the baby. It feels gently to the touch.
Since it foams up, it's easy to use when bathing a newborn. My baby gets a bath almost daily to help with her eczema.
Cons
New version has an overbearing, pungent smell of citrus, and very sour. Rating on ewg but it doesn't work. Something has gone amiss with this product and it's creation stateside.
This will be relegated to hand soap--the foaming dispenser is really convenient for washing toddler hands.
Highlights
Quality
I really like the fact that it foams very well and easily washes off the body and hair without leaving any residue (much easier... Read More
Earth mama:- makes good foam and is certified organic.
It has four organic ingredients and no fragrance.
- has a rating of 0 on skin deep database (0-2 rating means no harmful chemicals)- fragrance is medium-strong (citrus).
Price
And with current rates of cancer no one can afford keep putting chemicals on/in our body.
It's expensive stuff, but at least my baby doesn't get rashes from it, as she does with j&j's aveeno baby soap, so it's worth it.
Packaging/appearance
It's great that the packaging (the bottle) is free of estrogen-mimicking substances as well.
I was excited to get it, having done extensive research for the safest soap for my daughter, but when i opened the bottle, i co... Read More
Competitiveness
We bought earth mama organic baby shampoo and lafes organic baby shampoo after learning about the johnson & johnson fiasco.
My wife has been purchasing honest brand, which we like better, however the ingredient list of the reviewed product is far more favorable.
We have tried other brands, but they often make the baby slippery.
