Pros
The lagostina kit does not feel cheap. The build quality is top notch. The edges are smooth and nicely rounded.
The handles are sleek and fit nicely in your hand - no thickening of the shape. I love the steamer and it is great that each pot comes with its own lid. The set includes enough variety to have your kitchen well-equipped.
Cons
Ctc says they can only replace it because i don't have a receipt. This makes no sense unless it's a manufacturing defect.

I have just started using stainless steel pots and pans but after trying it for a week, i am getting rid of all of my teflon ones.
The 5 layers really spread out the heat evenly, and i'm yet to burn anything in these.
Price
The price is currently only $300, which i think is on point for a high-quality set of cookware for your kitchen.

Compared to the stuff i've been using for decades, this is a huge, huge step up.
The handles do get warm and also i'm not really a fan of steel handles but these are much better than what i have seen on other brands.
I don't like the design, but luckily i've got a lot of better lids that fit these pots, including those from the other lagostina set.

Luckily you can really scrape the burnt stuff off of these without fear of ruining any kind of nonstick coating

I have successfully fried eggs in it however so i think if you keep the heat low you should be fine

The bottoms of the pots and pan are rounded at the edges and for whatever reason this seems to make them not sit as flush with the old elements on my stovetop
