Pros & Cons
Pros
Comes with mounting attachments for the rail systems, really high quality adhesive velcro (this stuff isn't coming off accidentally), and it looks exactly like the picture! All attach points are snug and secure. My norotos mount is very snug and there... Read More
Helmet has good buckles and the pads are removable so you can adjust it to fit what ever comms system you are running. I have a giant melon head but this fit just fine after adjusting the wheel and removing a couple of the velcro pads. Headset adapter... Read More
The accuracy of the design compared to a real ballistic fast helmet are a credit and compliment to the manufacturer. Although it obviously provides no ballistic protection, it will protect you from thrown or swung blunt objects. Can be used for airsof... Read More
The tension/chin strap suspension system is strong and comfortable. The chin strap has decent material that looks and feels like soft leather. Chinstrap is cheap but works (easy to adjust). Cushion system is remarkably comfortable for the price.
Velcro panels (you apply) need a little bit of trimming for a proper fit. I use a lightspeed sierra anr with the top pad removed and it works great. Came with set of extra pads.
Cons
Not even close to x-large. Front velcro is not removable- glued in place. Doesn't cone with the pad kit pictured. This helmet is without a doubt m/l, not l/xl as claimed.
Highlights
Quality
All this being said, i was highly impressed by this product.
This is a good quality bump helmet for many purposes.
The pads are merely of a so-so quality, and i augmented them with additional.
Experimenting now with the ztac tactical headset rail adapters and a plug adapter.
Price
For the price you can't beat it.
The adjustment dial is very nice and the padding is exceptional given the price.
Shipping
Shipping times were 2 weeks, so if you need something to get you by while waiting on your 18 week lead time for a ballistic hel... Read More
Competitiveness
Obviously this is not a bullet-proof ballistic helmet at this price, but it is a well-made, good-looking plastic copy of an ach... Read More
