There is no documentation at all as to what the velco strap is for and it doesnt seem to fit anywhere on the mount

I considered using doublesided tape to mount the echo dot on a wall but this seemed much less damaging to the echo and the paint

The design of alexa itself makes it sit upside down unless you want the cord sticking out the top and coming down
