Very handy the front top pocket behind the middle pocket is as deep as the bag so not sure what that would be good fori put a small umbrella all the way down at the bottomplus there is a middle tier for penscheckbookflash drive etc plus a back sleeve behind the middle tier that is only about 5 deep so could hold something that is thin long and not too wide i have loose pens and pencils the main compartment is decent size but not enormous about 45 x 12 x 17

The back feels like there is a piece of rigid plastic inside to give it some rigidity

That sounds cheap and uncomfortable but the padding on the shoulder blades and lower back is in the right place so you dont notice the plastic

This one has three extra and imo unnecessary pockets and a mess of zippers on the back so it looks like any old backpack

When my last ogio backpack started to wear through i went online to buy a new one although i feel like recently the quality of ogio backpacks has been lacking
