There are docks that cost 2/3 to half as much as this that do usb 3.

I knew i needed a docking station, but did not want to spend a lot of money.

Huge plus was that it arrived in literally less than a day, so i was able to get it setup in less than 10 mins.

This allows me to control the brightness through an mac app, unlike another product from anker.

In general im happy with the purchase at it was three times cheaper than dell station, but all worked exactly the same.

Same message with dell station, thus this might be specific to my setup and not the station.

I need to switch to wfh setup and so i researched some of the docking stations compatible w m3 macbook, hdmi monitor, and usb-c connection.
