Blows the doors off of all other fans

The lakewood lowest speed is very quite with inaudible thrumming

The fan provides nice power but the remote is terrible because of the way the receiver led is positioned in the fan requiring that you hold the remote well above the fan

From there you just unscrewunclip whats holding the control panel in and you will get to the leds

If you look at my first picture you will see the black receiver led and youll notice i cut a portion of plastic away as a failed attempt to increase reception

I ultimately had to snip the led from the board and on the bottom solder 3 wires from the board to the diode making sure to keep the same colors for polarity

Now my reception is basically flawless when pointing casually at the fan even far away

You seem to have to be right on top of the fan for the remote to work
