    I have a cheap little home hygrometerthermometer about 20 feet away from the humidifier and i admit it hasnt shown much increase in humidity on the other hand simple observation says that the static electricity in the house is reduced house plants are putting out new leaves and parrots are less itchy and irritable

    The instructions specify using distilled water only and i havent done that however i do live in an area with extremely hard water so i also havent dared to use tap water in the tank
