Pros

Quite dark and luscious, without tasting 'burnt. Smells great while brewing. The coffee scent is so good when ou open it.

Lavazza is a well known italian espresso coffee. Follow moka pot method completely to make this coffee ots best value.

The only downside is that you'll need a good airtight container to store it in. At this price, cannot find better value for an italian staple. Fast shipping is a big bonus.

Cons

Of 4 bricks damaged and unusable. It was packaged within a plastic layer, in a brick of 4 packages, 3 of which were not tightly sealed. One bag wasn’t sealed properly.

The taste is horrible and rancid. This decreases freshness of coffee. Tried contacting them about the way the coffee was shipped and there was no regard.

First time i brewed it in a drip style maker in a 5oz water to 1 scoop ratio.

Been drinking this from an espresso maker forever and simply can't get enough!

Price

I am fond of lavazza espresso dark roast ground coffee and was delighted to find it on amazon at a reasonable price.

And you get quite a bit of coffee for the price.

If the price stays the same i will keep buying forever.

Shipping

The product arrived faster than i expected.

Getting it so quickly delivered is a big bonus.

Packaging/appearance

The quality and freshness of the coffee bricks were fresh and well packaged.

Only one out of the 20 bags in the back arrived with the vacuum seal broken, the other 19 were vacuum sealed and hard as bricks.

Coffee came well packaged, bricks were air tight.

The packs are also sealed well because you can hear the air release when you cut a bag open.

Competitiveness

I love this coffee and it's so reasonably priced compared to some other brands.

It is important to follow moka pot method completely to make this coffee ots best value.

I've tried too many other brands to mention.

I find this product i bought recently a little lighter in taste/flavor than the other products i bought previously.
