    I was looking for a turntable that had a lip on it

    The base underneath the turntable is not wide enough however which compromises the sturdiness and causes it to tip if the items on it arent balanced so that is something to be very aware of when placing heavy items on the turntable

    Because of this one needs to make sure the items are balanced all the way around the table to insure it doesnt tip

    But the black base could definitely be wider because if you have anything heavier on one side of the turntable it will tip to the side

    I ended up putting a heavy bottle in the center to maintain balance

    Also the raised wood edge on mine was cut offcenter so one side has a thicker edge than the other

    The inner diameter of the lip is about 9 inches so that would need to be considered when figuring out if it will work for what you need
