Scissors & a tape measure is all that you need. They are very easy to install and work really well.

Cons

Shades look cheap, thin, and more like a shower curtain than shade. The velcro doesn't stick to the window frame or to itself &amp. These * shades are absolutely worthless.

If not, disputing charge. Terrible quality and black on the other side. Maybe it's just non forgiving and everything matters.

I had low expectations but these are so much better than the paper products and also absorb heat as my room is east facing and stays cool.
