Ok because they dont go directly in your ears and are separated by material they are a fraction muffled but certainly not in a way that would detract from the overall experience

They are also quite flat so when laying on your side theyre barely notice them and dont dig in your ears like normal earphones

Compared with quality hifi headphones treble is indistinct midrange is lacking detail and deepest bass notes are not produced with a slight boom in upper bass
