The solar panel has a power cable length of 195cm so a good long length to get to your rope lights and the size of the solar panel its self is 7

The rope light does look pretty cool when up and working you do get only two working modes though just a slow flashing mode and then a static mode you get all along the rope light red green blue and yellow led lights which are not to bright and not to dull they are just about right for outside i think

Having previously rated this item one star as poor quality as lights failed after a few weeks i have to say this sellers customer service is first class and offered full refund or replacement

First night lights on strobe effect activated flash light neighbours commented on how bright they were wondering how they were powered they were shocked when i said “by that small solar panel in the plant pot
