Overall i am very impressed with the product although if the leds go you cannot buy replacements like you can with lightbulbs but at this price and if last as long as the manufactures say it would still be cheaper to buy a new light fitting

I replaced a pendant light and the ring main wiring is in the fitting attached to the ceiling so i had to relocate this to the attic and put into a junction box as these lights fit flush to the ceiling

You dont even notice these when they are off and they will not gather dust which the pendant lamps and lampshades would do

So if you attempt to mount this fitting to a joist in your ceiling it will not sit flush
