Pros & Cons
Pros
It's classy, it's large, it’s beautiful. The only complaint is a little height.
Mine is the shiner silver. Stainless version seems to be a big improvement and worth any additional pesos it may cost. Since it's stainless steel throughout there's no worries about the enamel or other coatings flaking off into the water.
This is my second le crueset teapot and i would purchase it again. Quality material, good position for spout and it holds up well. Before pouring we wait a bit and swish water so that the spout does not sputter.

Highlights
Quality
Solid heavy steel, we have kept water in it more often than not for 6 months with no sign of rust.
Quality material, good position for spout and it holds up well.
It is made in china, not in france.
The lid is a bit snug and the handle is stiff.
Price
Althou the price is a little height but it is the best kettle in every aspects.
It's a little pricey, but you get what you paid for, and it lasts a long time.
It's a very good, sturdy kettle, but might be a bit over-priced for what it is.
Packaging/appearance
It's still just as shiny and pretty as when i first got it, and i've used it almost daily for a year now.
Competitiveness
I was hesitant to buy this tea kettle, but for me, i kept coming back to the overall look of this one over the competitors.
That being said, i think the enamel version of their kettle is terrible by comparison, so get the stainless steel model instead.

It holds a lot of water and it has only spit hot water less than a handful of times but that was due to me filling it up too high
