Pros

The lid is very snug. This kettle, is of high quality. I'm a dedicated lecreuset customer and this yea kettle matches well with my collection!

The whistle is gentle, not harsh. As for the whistle lever, not filling the kettle past about where it starts to curve is helpful for keeping it from bubbling out.

Cons

Less than 1 year into owning it developed a sizeable rusted area on the bottom edge. It heats well enough, but the handle is too hot to handle after boiling. When you pour the hot kettle it literally sputters all over the countertop/cooktop.

When you open the spout and pour the water out, the water shoots out about 1 foot outward like a geyser. When pouring the water, it often spits everywhere. The lid has parts that fill with soapy water, and i have to unscrew the knob to empty the water... Read More

The photo is incorrect. Returned it. Seems not legit.

Cute but impractical. Looks nice but does not keep water hot. The enamel finish is also kind of weird and sticky.
