Pros

Beautiful tea kettle with a lovely whistle. Looks great sitting on my stove every day.

Well made, solid tea pot. Always rated either 1 or 2 by everyone.

Cons

The spout does not open automatically to pour water, it dribbles out. The plastic parts on the kettle aren’t heat resistant and started bubbling up after a few months of regular use. It dribbles water everywhere!

It got a big rusty chip in the enamel within less than 2 months of use. Made of a black resin material.

Dissappointed le creuset consumer. Clearly returning (buying chantal fyi).

Do yourself a favor and stay clear of this one. Below are the unfortunate bits.

Now you have that awful paper backing, stuck with glue on the beautiful finish.

It may be pricey, but this kettle works like a champ, maintains heat well after being taken off a burner, and looks great to boot.

Price point is a little steep, but no complaints.

I assumed amazon would have the best price but after ordering i realized i was wrong.

Looks great on our gas stove too.
