Pros

The braiser fits a large quantity and is great for dishes that start on the stove and transfer to the oven. It cooks 2 big, or 3 regular-sized, meals for a big eater.

Clean up is just as easy as with my stainless steel pans--hot soapy water and scrubby sponge or dish brush. In addition, my vintage lc enameled cast iron and lodgeenameled pieces are virtually spotless. Once you know how to clean enamel cast iron, cle...  Read More

Dutch oven and 2, 5 quart brazier pans and 12 cast iron skillet are all over 40 years old. Haven't had any burnt food issues or sticking. Can be used for stovetop and oven.

Cons

Label looks uneven. Scratch’s all over the lid and a dent in the knob on top of the lid.

My dutch oven and 2, 5 quart brazier pans and 12" cast iron skillet are all over 40 years old and still going strong!

Objectively, this braiser performs worse than a cheap stainless steel pot, as the heat conductivity of cast iron is pretty terr...  Read More

I got this for a steal from the amazon warehouse.

I wanted to give her the cookware she would choose to have regardless of cost.

Yes, it's expensive, but it's a lifetime investment.

This review is for the le creuset enameled cast iron signature braiser 2

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I purchased this same beautiful le creuset enameled cast iron braiser nearly 25 years ago from a kitchen supply store that was going out of business along with a couple of other le creuset pieces

Abd after all that use other than a couple of minor stains on the bottom and a tiny chip in the interior where my wife used a metal serving utensil when we first got it all those years ago before she knew better its still as beautiful as the day that i bought it

That little ol selfinflicted chip never expanded or led to rusting or any other problem

See the attached photos of this nearly 25 year old le creuset braiser
