Pros

It cooks evenly and has straight sides for easy cutting and serving. Nice for small lasagna. Cleans up nicely in dishwasher. I like that the lid sits snugly on the casserole and this allows me to bake certain things well.

Cons

While this appears in the photos to be nice heavy lc enamel over iron, it is actually just light earthenware. There was only 1 piece of crumpled up paper so the lid was broken. Enamel is spotty.
