Pros

Plastic removes the cork quickly and easily. The included foil cutter is sturdy and doesn't feel like it will break any time soon.

Works well, lasts well and is competitively priced. Nicely packaged if giving as a gift.

The key is longevity. It still works great without removing the rubber band.

Cons

It's not even usable as a paperweight given its funky design. The original lever and foil cutter lm250k-31, formerly known as leverpull, has a serious design flaw.

It is very difficult to pull out the cork now. Every time i pull up on the lever once the corkscrew part is in the c cork, i notice considerable flex on the handle. Le creuset's policy is that they will not refund my money, so i'm stuck.

It is durable and does a good job of uncorking your favorite wine.

However, there are many flimsy products in this category that a) do not perform well, and b) break fairly quickly.

It may cost more but you will love using it and worth it!

You can certainly open a bottle of wine for less money but i was given one many years ago and really liked it.

The le creset product is 1000x better .

I considered the rabbit but i was able to try opening a bottle with a rabbit and there is no comparison.
