Pros
Le creuset is a forever piece of kitchen cookware. Perfect for canning big batches of jam or huge batches of pasta sauce. Great for slow cooking.
Gorgeous deep cherry color is nicer than images on the website. This pot is sturdy and will last a lifetime.
Le crueset makes the finest dutch ovens in the world. It retains heat, heats evenly, and goes from stove top to oven to table.
Le creuset 9 quart is the perfect size for cooking anything from a simple soup to a huge braised roast. It fills 3 of our 2 qt.
Cons
Only warm soapy water to clean, avoiding big temp. After some weeks of careful use, i find it very hard to clean the pot and the enamel is stained.

Even though the core is cast iron rapidly heating or cooling the dutch oven can cause the enamel to crack

Ive had several other brands in different sizes tramontina mario batali and lodge which is now made in china and has gone way down in quality
