Compared with previous le creuset i think this would be more practical in daily usage because you can see the food without keeping move the lid away
The glass lid does not have as luxe a feel as the cast iron lids that ordinarily come with le creuset and staub but i prefer the lighter lid and being able to see inside the pot when i cook
