Pros & Cons
Pros
Great grip on le creuset pot as well as my cast iron skillets. Looks sturdy and protective from the heat when using a heavy cast iron pan. Worth every penny.
They are compact, store easily, and are easy to clean. Makes cleaning while hot a snap. I wish they were a little tighter, but don’t know how you could do that with silicone as it is a floppy material.
Half-rigid half-flexible handles. Perfect for le creuset essential oven, enameled soup pot, braiser and large oval baker handles.
Cons
One of the grips is wider than the other and does not fit to the rim of the pot. These are nothing more than silicone oven mitts. Spend the $20 dollars and buy a nice new set of pot holders.
Highlights
Quality
Spend a little to get the quality, won’t regret buying these.
I just love le creuset and am happy with this product.
Just not much finesse in the product.
I envisioned more of a fitted product.
Packaging/appearance
I have several le creuset dutch ovens and sometimes i need to lift them to go to the sink or to decant contents.
Competitiveness
Hope to get many years of use from them albeit expensive versus competition.
I’m more than pleased with these, so much better than the off-brand ones i saw at my local big-box discount home items store.
