Pros

It has been used on electric, gas, propane, and kerosene stoves. I am smitten by this piece. Use it for baking sourdough and stove top saute.

It cleans like a charm. It cleans up easily by hand and without scrubbing or scraping.

Le creuset is perfection. It is nicer looking in person than in the photo. The handles are also great.

Not disappointed. Worth every penny. A little pricy but worth it in the long run.

Cons

Inside finish of the dutch oven is chipped and corroded in someplaces, but is at least usable (over than the knob) specifically ordered dutch oven with black knob, received silver.

I'm totally willing to pay for quality but it's cost for most people is definitely daunting.

To me, it is definitely worth the price.

There is a reason le creuset is worth the price.

I would not buy a substitute lower price pot.

I had not purchased it before because of the price (yikes) but noticed recently elsewhere prices were going up $60 dollars or more.
