Quality
The quality seemed as good as usual and the color (basis) is lovely.
It is le creuset, so the quality is amazing, and cleanup is a breeze.
I have owned le creuset before, so the quality was no surprise.
Yes, they are expensive, but, you equally received top quality (you get what you pay for).
Price
Great size, great color, was at a great price.
Price was fair and i am slowly replacing all my pots and pans with le creuset.
Just remember: the bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.
Competitiveness
It's slightly smaller than my 10-inch burner, so i can use this pan and something larger at the same time.
Also great for poaching things for two people, definitely more manageable than my 7+qt monster.
You shouldn't exceed medium heat in most circumstances.
Even at today's prices, if i lost my pot for some reason, i would buy the exact same thing again.

On the other hand i had a skillet crack after a month of ownership and their warranty proved to not be nearly as comprehensive as they claim they did eventually replace the pan but i had to throw an absolute fit which is not in my nature at all
