It’s a shame. However, they are not functional. They are terrible for cooking and terrible for using them on already plated food. The problem is with functionality.
The salt and pepper shaker doesn't have the bottom stopper so the are unusable. The stoppers can be easily pushed too far into the shaker. There was one hole in one shaker and 3 holes in the other.

I may switch out the 3 hole for salt because i use pink himalayan and put the pepper in the one with a single hole because the salt is on the larger size

These are very nice have not tried them as of yet but i was disappointed that the brilliant red goes to a darker mud color on the bottom

These are not at the color as in the picturein the picture they look teal but they’re blue
