I gave 4 stars because there was nothing actually wrong with the construction or operation of the bulb.

Replaced with the warm version and it's much better - like a normal halogen or incandescent glow.

Price

Idk but i would recommend these if the price stays right.

Competitiveness

Great replacement for the 50 watt 120 volt mr16 lamp.

Bright and a good looking dimmable daylight.

These gave me eye strain after one day/8 hours, so i switched them out with dimmable warm white leds.

Blubs are a hell of alot cooler than 50 w halogens and reasonablly priced.
