When you push the letters it tells you the pronunciation of the letter and different versions if applicable and then tells you an animal that starts with that letter

There are activity buttons across the top of the unit used to start various learning adventures such as placing the letters in the correct location mystery word practicing upper and lower case letters displayed on the lcd that the child then practices on the drawing board

It has a lot of settings and games which ill describe in features but the basic backpack features alphabet letters which can be removed by pulling them from the top and when reinserted they will trigger mr pencil the games host to say the letter and an animal beginning with that letter presuming the game is turned on

Ill describe these below in the order of the buttons from left to rightletter zoo insert or press the letter and mr pencil will say the capital pronunciation the sound of the letter and the animal with a small picture of it
