Pros
It keeps them entertained for hours. It makes me so proud of her, that she enjoys learning.
Bought it for my 2 1/2 year old for christmas. Bought for 3yo. Bought as a birthday gift for my nephew. Our grandson (5 y. Old) the kiddo really loves this. My grandkids love this.
Even with the hurdles of when you first recieve this system it's worth it in the long run. It’s a nice, durable gift. After the other one lasting 2 yrs, i have to say it'm worth the additional $50 for the next couple of years.
Cons
Vtech technologies has produced a poor quality new version which is not as capable as the original. This thing is ridiculous. Product is absolute garbage.
The regular leapstart without the screen on it is much better. I guess it might be, if it were usable. It did not get banged around a lot or dropped, so i’m not sure what this issue is. Turns out, my leapfrog is faulty.
The warranty period on this device is 90 days. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Customer service says our account was “accidentally purged”.
