Pros
Set has a cake tray, each cake is an individual color and slice, with a picture on each. It plays catchy tunes and makes noises that imitate the tea brewing and being poured.
It is so cute. Cutest feature in my opinion is it measures its contents. Very cute toy.

My daughter got this as a gift and is obsessed with the sounds it makes.
It's great for teaching colors with the little cakes it comes with and last but probably most important it's light is soothing.
I also wish there was a serving tray with the set.
She’s not as interested in the cake part but her little face lights up just playing with the teapot.
Packaging/appearance
This year i got the leapfrog one and right out of the box i could already spot many differences.
I read a review from a few years ago that said it was for packaging purposes to attach to the plastic.
It is "frustration-free" packaging as labeled, i missed that and it arrived in a cardboard box with smaller boxes with the items inside.

They are plastic but not super thin cheap toys like what you would find at a dollar tree
