Pieces are not too small to be a choking hazard. The pegs are big enough not to worry about chocking. Both siblings were entertained for some time.

This toy is durable and has beautiful, vivid colors. It's also a good size and fairly priced. Each piece is very sturdy.

All of the pieces feel sturdy and well-made.
The bottom of the flower pot comes off and all of the flowers and spikes fit in the bottom.
I haven't seen anything on this toy that screams safety hazard, because the flowers and spikes are quite big so they can't swallowed.

One issue we have with this is that my toddler gets frustrated trying to put the flowers into the holes

The flowers fit tight so they dont fall out but its difficult to get them in and out of the holes
