Pros & Cons
Pros
This is a great age to look into sets like this as we prep him to start school. My daughter is in tk and this is perfect starter set for her. This set covers math skills for a variety of skill levels, from prek skills to maybe second grade.
The blocks snap together very well. The colors are vibrant, making for a safer lego alternative with minimal chance of choking. Great for kids learning to count by 10s and multiply, etc.
These remind me of our old ones that have many missing cubes so we had to restock. The cubes are made of a thicker and more durable plastic. The math link cubes are durable and click together nicely.
Recently, there's been of rise of homeschooling. I love learning resources for educational tools i can use at home to reinforce what school is teaching. Definitely worth it for homeschoolers.
Cons
It interrupts the whole process. They are even hard for an adult to snap together! Putting them together and taking them apart is usually a frustrating experience for my daughter that ends in her saying you do it daddy after several attempts.

I took the cards and counted out the cubes each child would need for their double sided card then put the cards and cubes into individual trays

I also put a card in each tray with that childs name on it so that i can rotate the trays so a child isnt getting the same card every time
