Pros & Cons
Pros
This set really fits the bill. I am loving this material to work with my 3. Year old. You won't be disappointed.
With some guidance, my 3 yr old is able to complete them too. I think this is a great age to look into sets like this as we prep him to start school. My daughter is in tk and this is perfect starter set for her.
Math is a sensitive subject in school. This is what is also used in classrooms and instructional videos. A must for homeschooling. This set covers math skills for a variety of skill levels, from prek skills to maybe second grade.
The cubes are made of a thicker and more durable plastic. Overall it’s a win for us & even when he has moved in from the cards the cubes will still have years of life left. The cubes could be configured to make (block-style) alphabet letters too.
Cons
It interrupts the whole process. They are even hard for an adult to snap together! Putting them together and taking them apart is usually a frustrating experience for my daughter that ends in her saying you do it daddy after several attempts.

I will say the cubes are a bit difficult for her to snap together and sometimes she gets frustrated so we will just line them up next to each other instead of fully snapping them into place
